Principles
Three ideas behind every design.
A website is often the first look at your practice. These ideas keep every direction calm, clear, and true to the care you offer.
Calm before clever.
A dental visit can feel like a big step. Generous space, plain words, and one clear next step do more than decoration.
The practical details, early.
Hours, location, insurance and payment, and what a first visit includes sit where people look for them, on every screen size.
Your practice, not a template.
A family practice, a cosmetic studio, and a specialist office should not look alike. The look follows who you are and who you care for.
Directions
One practice, four directions.
Ottermere Dental is a fictional sample practice. Switch between four looks for the same homepage: the care stays the same, the feel changes.

Start from the direction that fits.
We’ll design a free homepage concept for your practice in the direction you choose, then walk you through it. A complete website and ongoing services are scoped separately.
Every direction
What every direction keeps.
Whichever look you choose, these stay the same, because patients of every age need them.
Readable type
Body text sized for comfortable reading, with clear headings, so patients of every age can read without zooming.
Strong contrast
Every palette is checked so text and buttons stay readable, including on a phone in a bright waiting room.
A clear first step
Calling the office and requesting a visit stay easy to find on every page, never hidden behind a menu.
Made for phones
Every direction is designed for small screens first: buttons sized for a thumb, short paragraphs, and your hours one scroll away.
FAQs
Questions about design.
How the directions work, and how we shape a design around your practice.
No. Ottermere Dental is a fictional sample practice, and its dentists are invented. Each direction is a sample concept, not client work, and no photographs of real patients or offices are shown.
Yes. If your practice already has a logo, colors, or a style you like, we design around them. The directions are starting points for a conversation, not templates you have to choose from.
Yes. Many practices sit between two looks, such as a family practice with a cosmetic focus. We can pair one direction’s palette with another’s type and shape, and keep what every direction shares.
Only with each patient’s written authorization and a plain note that results vary. Your practice decides what to show and keeps the authorizations; the sample directions show no patient photos.
We design every direction with readable type sizes, strong color contrast, and clear focus states, and we review pages on phones before launch. Tell us about any accessibility requirements your practice has, and we will plan for them.
